Metta
'Metta' is a delicate purple painting crafted in my studio while I listened to an audiobook exploring the principles of Buddhism. The word "Metta," derived from Pali, encompasses meanings of loving-kindness, friendliness, and goodwill. Given the peaceful, reflective atmosphere in which the piece was created, the name "Metta" seemed a fitting tribute to the energy and intention behind the work.
Multi-layered, hand painted and poured painting created with epoxy resin, glass, genuine quartz crystals and cubic zirconia.
